[Today News] Yoon Seok-yeol's visit to the US made quite a stir, didn't it?

Yoon president visit to the US

One thing that really stood out was when he sang on the spot.

During his US visit, Yoon Seok-yeol attended a state reception where he was asked to sing by Biden and other guests.

When he responded by saying he would sing one verse of "American Pie" if the supporters of the Korea-US alliance wanted it, the audience went wild as he sang that one verse.

I was surprised to see that Yoon Seok-yeol sang quite well, which made everyone, including Biden, impressed and applauding with enthusiasm.

It's amazing how one song can create such a strong bond between the US and Korea. Thanks to the hallyu wave, more and more Americans are developing a positive view of Korea as a country.

This visit also changed the impression of many people on Yoon Seok-yeol.

It made me think that diplomacy isn't always about formal documents and a stiff atmosphere, but also about creating intimacy to build a strong alliance.

By the way, have you checked out Yoon Seok-yeol's rendition of "American Pie?" There are tons of related videos if you search for "Yoon Seok-yeol singing" on YouTube.

A long long time ago

I can still remember how

That music used to make me smile

And I knew if I had my chance

That I could make those people dance

And maybe they'd be happy for a while

But February made me shiver

With every paper I'd deliver

Bad news on the doorstep

I couldn't take one more step

I can't remember if I cried

When I read about his widowed bride

But something touched me deep inside

The day the music died
